We're thrilled that you're ready to apply to complete your Montessori Training with SIMS! We’re looking forward to getting to know you.
The Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies is open to individuals who have demonstrated suitability for Montessori training based on maturity of personality, integrity of character, intellectual creativity, and aptitude for psychological insight and understanding.
The application is completed by filling out these two forms. The Training Application will provide us with your personal information and Montessori background. The next form, Required Documents, is where you can upload your resume, essay of intent, and letters of recommendation. You can also send a direct link to your references so they can write a letter that attaches directly to your application!
Once your application is complete, we will reach out to you to schedule an in-person, Skype, or phone interview.
SIMS is located in downtown Mesa, Arizona. As an affiliated AMI training center, we are a central hub for authentic Montessori in the Southwest. SIMS holds accredited status for its Primary Montessori teacher education certification course level from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).
