Administrator Training Course
A comprehensive administrators training designed to support and deepen your understanding of school leadership within a Montessori context. This course is ideal fo new administrators or aspiring school leaders as well as experienced leaders.
Offered at SIMS and delivered by AMI approved educators who are highly experienced school administrators. The course is delivered through presentations, discussions and breakout groups. Hours of observation, homework projects and 2-3 meetings with your advisor required. This course will provide you with the skills, knowledge and understanding of:
- Core Pedagogical Principles
- How to Build a Healthy School Community
- Strategies to Support Children, Staff, Parents and Board
- Strategic Planning
Course Schedule :
January 12, 2022 – March 30, 2022
Time: Weekly Meetings each Wednesday 4pm-6pm PT*
(Please take into consideration the time difference if applying from outside of North/South America. Additional small group meetings will be arranged outside of class meeting time)
Tuition: $1500 ($750 non-refundable deposit due within 2 weeks of acceptance)
Tuition must be paid in full two weeks prior to class start.
