Course Schedule 2024-2025
Classes start online July 15, 2024. We’re excited to offer this course in a blended-online format to be completed within the 24-25 Academic Year. Students will be required to attend three in-person sessions in Mesa, AZ:
- August 5 – 23, 2024
- December 3 – 14, 2024
- May 5 – 31, 2025 (includes oral exams and graduation)

*Students enrolled in the Loyola University Maryland graduate program will participate in coursework from September 4th – December 19th, 2024, and January 3rd through May 5th, 2025.*
Tuition & Payment Dates
For your convenience in making the remainder of your tuition payment(s), you’ll be able to choose one of the following payment plans*:
Options for Paying Balance of tuition:
Option 1
A single installment of $14,000, due before classes start
Option 2
($610 Finance Fee)
3 installments of $4870
Option 3
($1,300 Finance Fee)
Ten monthly installments of $1,530, due monthly
†Please note: A finance fee will be charged for Options 2 and 3, and is included in payment amounts listed above.
Additionally, please plan for approximately $1,200 for the cost of books, classroom materials, and the materials needed to create the albums required for this class.
Financing Options
There are a variety of ways to fund your education at SIMS. Please review our scholarship opportunities, tuition discounts, and payment plans to determine what might be the best fit for you. In addition, students who are also earning their Master’s degree in co-operation with Loyola University Maryland can also access financial aid through the college.

Sponsorship
Montessori schools across the country trust us to train their chosen candidates at SIMS. Students interested in contacting a school regarding their interest in sponsoring a student should reach out to find out a schools specific requirements. Payment Plans
We know enrolling in our training course is a significant investment (one we think is worth it!). Our payment plans allow you to schedule your payments in the best way you see fit, with monthly and quarterly installment options available. Read more above.
Tuition Discounts
We offer early bird discounts for those who can get their applications in before cut-off deadlines. If you’ve already completed AMI diploma level training elsewhere, and are pursuing an additional diploma with SIMS, you will qualify for a 5% discount off your tuition. Previous SIMS students attending an additional diploma course, you will qualify for 10% off your tuition. If you’re considering approaching a school to sponsor your participation in our course, please be sure to let them know also have school sponsorship discounts available.
Discounts For Your School
Are you currently a teacher at a Montessori school? If you’d like to encourage your school to sponsor you for training at SIMS, keep in mind that any sponsoring school receives $500 off each sponsored student’s tuition.
Additionally, if your school has sponsored students in the past, they may qualify for an additional 5-10% off the tuition. Schools fully sponsoring their 3rd SIMS student will receive 5% off, and for 4 or more students, will receive 10% off tuition.
Early Bird Discounts
We offer early bird discounts for those who can get their applications in before these cut-off deadlines:
- Extra Early Bird (by December 15, 2023): Tuition reduced by $500.
- Early Bird (by March 31, 2024): Tuition reduced by $250.
Your application must be completed and acceptance must be finalized by the applicable early bird date. Tuition discounts will be taken from December tuition installments (or final installments, where not applicable).
