Who We Are Looking For:
An individual who is passionate about working with children ages 0-3 years old, is committed to the development of young children and is dedicated to providing every child with a high-quality experience. The right teacher consciously communicates with children in a heartfelt way and supports them in independence and self care.
This teacher is expected to have experience in a Montessori Toddler class, have great leadership skills, good written and oral communication skills, and teamwork.
The Lead Toddler teacher is responsible for, setting up the classrooms, creating work that fits with the monthly themes, delegating assignments to the assistant, working closely with the Lead Primary Teacher, monitoring the children during work time and lunch/playtime, giving students lessons on work, following a schedule, diaper changing, potty training, cleaning the classroom, and much more!
Montessori credentials (AMS- or AMI-certified) preferred
Must meet all state preschool lead teacher requirements
Experience in a licensed preschool facility
Montessori classroom setting experience (preferred but not required)
Possess infinite patience and a calm, centered disposition
Believe that childhood is the time of the greatest work inside the child
Understand and appreciate all the behaviors of this age group
