Current opportunities include educators for a K/1/2 (ages 5-8) classroom and a 3/4/5 (ages 9-11) classroom.

A beautiful campus in Cary, North Carolina provides extra large classrooms with plenty of room for movement, distancing, and creative activities. Rooms are warm and welcoming, uncluttered and interesting, and thoughtfully designed for maximum flexibility and provide space for both group learning and independent exploration. A large outdoor space that includes two sport courts invites deep play, adventure and an ideal environment for micro-pod learning if safety dictates and the organic raised garden is perfect for nature study.
Elementary Curriculum Acumen: Fully planning and implementing appropriate lessons, activities and projects that adhere to the curriculum and academy philosophy; maintaining an organized, attractive, universally designed, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that reflects the culture, needs, and interests of the group; tailoring instruction to accommodate a variety of learning styles; understanding of Universal Design for Learning.
Inclusive Co-Educating: Learning from a co-teacher in implementing the curriculum for a variety of learning styles; developing, maintaining, and utilizing a repertoire of teaching and learning skills effective for a diverse group of learners; providing instruction to children in large groups, small groups, and individually; co-planning and preparing materials for instruction; providing educational experiences that include diverse cultures, backgrounds and life experiences; co-leading authentic assessments and utilizing information to guide instruction and innovation.
Transcending the Ordinary: Modeling adherence to policies and practices for full inclusion and upholding Rede quality standards; performing responsibilities in a professional manner that models and ensures a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning and working environment and upholds the academy’s commitment to its mission, vision, values, and culture; energizing the classroom and ensuring wellbeing of each young mind.
Partnership: Collaborating, sharing and connecting with fellow co-educators and team members for program enhancement and in enjoying what you do; collaborating with speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists so each is able to creatively push-in supports that enrich classroom instruction for all students; enjoying camaraderie with the Rede team to maintain an inclusive environment and high standards for all children as well as to grow professionally.
Communication: Effectively communicating through discussions, teaming, lesson overviews, notes, emails, and face-to-face; maintaining confidentiality and interacting with internal and external constituents with sensitivity and understanding; projecting positivity and a growth mindset in creating ways up and over challenges; utilize technology in personalized learning.
