Description
Fiore Montessori School, an independent, AMI-recognized school located in Vienna, VA is seeking a teacher to lead one of our Toddler classrooms for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a full-time position with hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Candidates should be AMI Montessori-trained for 0-3 level. Recent Montessori graduates with limited experience and anyone currently mid-training will also be considered.
Key responsibilities:
Normalize children ages 16 months to 3 years
Create a beautiful prepared environment and engage children
Observe the children and offer enticing lessons
Train and lead assistants to maintain and organize your environment
Lead parent community and provide education
Collaborate with the Administrative Team.
We have the J-1 visa available for qualifying candidates. The J-1 Teacher Program is a nonimmigrant cultural exchange, which gives foreign teachers the opportunity to teach in our AMI accredited school, and the start date is August 2022.
Additional Required Qualifications for a J-1 Visa Sponsorship:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or teaching English language
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Offer immersion in your mother tongue, ideally Spanish. French or Chinese will also be considered.
