SIMS is excited to offer a Primary Classroom Assistant Training Workshop in New Mexico, for the first time, this January! Those working as assistants or those who just want to learn a little bit more about Montessori are encouraged to attend. The Primary Classroom Assistant’s Course gives an overview of Montessori Education with concentration on the development of the 3 to 6-year old child. This 15-hour long course is a solid foundation for parents and family members seeking to better understand Montessori and for new assistants who want to provide a meaningful contribution to the primary environment.
Dates: January 19-21, 2019
Hours: Saturday, Sunday – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Monday – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Registration fee: $450
*Should the participant choose to pursue the Montessori Primary (3-6) Teacher Training course in the future, the registration amount will be applied towards future tuition of that course.

- Maintaining a Montessori Environment and its Materials
- The Relevance of Observation
